Deep Impact Flyby and Impactor Spacecraft Stacked Together
Hi-Res JPEG (171 KB)

Brian Buchholz (left) and Lorna Hess-Frey (front, right) carefully maneuver the Flyby spacecraft to its stacked position over the Impactor spacecraft. The spacecraft pair will be shipped in the stacked configuration from Ball Aerospace to Cape Canaveral, Fla. in October.
